Welcome
Since 1976, Blackburn Center has been providing services to victims of domestic and sexual violence in Westmoreland County, and presenting education programs across this community. Our mission is to actively advocate for the rights of all people to live free from violence and oppression in their homes and communities, and provide supportive services to survivors of all forms of domestic violence and sexual assault. All of Blackburn Center’s client services are FREE and CONFIDENTIAL.
You’ve come to the right place if:
- Your life – or the life of someone you care about – has been touched by domestic or sexual violence. This site will provide information to help you understand what you’re experiencing, the options that are available, and how you can access services to support you through this time.
- You’d like to learn more about the issues: perhaps you’re working on a paper for a class, or would like to volunteer, or would like to join us in our mission to end this violence. This site can help meet all of those needs – and more!
