Blackburn Center is committed to helping all residents of Westmoreland County.  Through our community programs, Blackburn Center raises awareness and educates the public about the issues of domestic and sexual violence and other types of violence and crime.  We do this by offering free educational programs to schools, churches and other community organizations, working directly with local universities on special projects, providing free educational material for parents and educators,  by hosting events such as Walk A Mile In Her Shoes. We also have a vibrant and active community of volunteers, all of whom help us to achieve our mission of ending violence in Westmoreland County.
