Vote!

We are less than one week away from Election Day in the United States. While one big race has captured most of the nation’s attention, there are seats up for grabs in the United States Congress, state legislatures and local counties, cities and towns. With so much on the line for our future, we urge you to do your civic duty and vote on November 8.

There are so many important issues facing us as a nation and as a community right here in Westmoreland County. Do your research to find out where the candidates stand on matters that are important to you, and pick the candidate who you believe will best do the job.

At Blackburn Center, we do not take a position on political candidates. We are not asking you to support any particular candidate or any platform — we just want you to vote! As with so many other things, we can make a difference in our country by working together and taking action. Perhaps the easiest way to stand up for a cause that you believe in is by voting on November 8.

If you live in Pennsylvania, you can find your polling place here. Make sure that your voice is heard by taking just a few moments next week to cast your vote!
